Dear Families,

At Edgewood School, we strive to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all of our students. Our custodial team works hard every single night to thoroughly clean and sanitize our restrooms so students return to fresh facilities each morning.

Unfortunately, we are experiencing an ongoing issue with students not properly caring for these shared spaces. Recently, acts of vandalism have resulted in several broken soap dispensers.

We ask for your support at home in having a conversation with your student about respecting school property, taking pride in our shared environment, and reporting any misuse to a school staff member.

While we wait for official replacement parts and repairs, we want to ensure every student can continue practicing good hand hygiene. If you are able to donate liquid hand soap (pump bottles), your contributions would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be dropped sent in with your child for the homeroom teachers.

Thank you for your partnership in keeping our school community safe, clean, and respectful for everyone.

Sincerely,

Nicole Brown, Principal

Edgewood School

Earlier today, administration was made aware of a concerning photo that had been posted on social media. We immediately contacted the New Haven Police Department and followed all standard NHPS safety protocols.

Law enforcement thoroughly investigated the situation and confirmed there is no credible threat to our school community.

As always, the safety and security of our students and staff remain our top priority.

The Edgewood Scholastic Book Fair is coming October 13-16, and we need families to help staff it, including set-up this Thursday! Please see the sign-up sheet at :
